Earthwave knew it had the potential to grow rapidly and desired assistance in putting the proper strategies in place; therefore, they submitted information to the Indiana Venture Center. Shortly thereafter, the Indiana Venture Center began working on helping unlock the potential of this Indianapolis-based telematics solutions provider.
Working closely with Earthwave Technologies and directly with its chief executive officer, the Indiana Venture Center has helped to strengthen the company’s foundation. Venture Center staff have worked on everything from values and culture, to operating and capitalization plans. Work has included preparation for presenting to new investors, introductions to potential investors, and exposure to high profile state and local contacts. Larry Baker, Earthwave CEO, credits the Indiana Venture Center with playing a key role in evaluating financing options and developing the capitalization plan that best fit the organizations current status and goals.
The Indiana Venture Center has been active in guidance on company valuation and a hands-on developer of Key Performance Indicators to help direct and monitor organizational performance. Solutions for operational capacity are also being identified and built to accommodate rapid sales growth.
Recognizing the potential for immediate expansion, new positions will be required to accommodate rapid growth. Profiles for key hires are being established, and the Indiana Venture Center can use its network to facilitate introductions to potential candidates in line with the human capital plan. The Indiana Venture Center continues to refer Earthwave Technologies to high quality professional services providers as needed for subject matter expertise needed during this time of expansion.
To prepare and assist Earthwave Technologies with increasing awareness, a video is being produced and developed. This informational video will give the company a unique marketing tool that will be easily distributed and reproduced.
