Megumi Nakao
MBA Fellow

Megumi Nakao is an MBA candidate at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, majoring in Entrepreneurship Management.  Dr. Nakao grew up in a family that runs a small company that distributes various food items and manufactures tofu.   Prior to enrolling in the Kelley MBA Program, Dr. Nakao worked as an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Tulsa.

Dr. Nakao aspires to improve the quality of life for people who require special assistance or services, such as senior citizens and persons with disabilities. She plans to pursue this goal by developing an innovative business venture. Upon receiving her MBA in 2009, Dr. Nakao plans to seek employment with a start-up company that provides special services to persons in need.

Dr. Nakao has a B.S. degree in Natural Resources and an M.S. in Agricultural Economics from the Ohio State University.  She also has a Ph. D. in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics from the University of Rhode Island.
